If someone inherits firearms or buys them from a friend, or even buys them from a stranger......that is nobody's f'n business. That BOS proposal is just a way to get the millions of guns which are now unknown or not recorded somewhere, on paper. It is nothing more than a prelude to total registration which will lead to confiscation.

Those jugheads seem to believe that any time a firearm is sold for money, it's a "commercial sale". And they will find a way to get the public to believe that too, unless they are made to realize that a sale between two individuals for cash is merely a face-to-face transaction and NOT a commercial sale.

They did not. Almost all legislation is written by a lawyer; their choice of words is specific.

Commercial sale, to a lawyer, means: “for a given product and country the sale for value of that product by a Party (or, as the case may be, by an Affiliate or permitted sublicensee of a Party), to a Third Party after regulatory approval (if necessary) has been obtained for such product in such country. “

Party means a person or entity involved in an agreement.
