The price was right
I'll have under $410 in it and the cheapest one I've seen on any of the gun auction/trade sites was $500. Some were selling higher than that($600 range).Thanks for the link. That's about the only thing google has found for me. It appears that production was discontinued after the 1994 AWB banned them from importation.
I had one for about a year. I liked it, but sold it for two reasons:
It would not reliably cycle the Federal Tactical 00 Buckshot, and I could not find a rubber buttpad to fit the back (the slip on pad was terrible).
Other than that, I never had a problem and it was a smooth operating shotgun.

S. P. A. S. " special purpose automatic shotgun ". had one years ago. bought for around 500.00 sold it when the value went to 2000.00, JUST before it was outlawed. they outlawed it because it was SO BADASS !
