    Gunz are icky.
I’ve wondered if portion of a state could secede from its parent state and begin a new state?
No armed rebellion stuff. Just say **** this and stop being/paying taxes/etc of the parent state.
    What are they gonna do?

Not with the post-reconstruction constitutions. Good news is the Texas Constitution is easily changeable.

Bad news is Scalia and the Supreme Court have ruled that secession on a state’s part is not viable.
I know, just taking out loud to illustrate the hypocrisy. Anytime someone on the right says we should secede, the left says the feds should be sent it to stop it if we try.

Like @Vaquero said the other day, we shouldn’t give up a damn inch of this country to those trying to destroy it.

I don't care what happens to Seattle. They have already demonstrated they have no use for the U.S. Constitution so the entire area can fall into total anarchy for all I care.

Any way it goes. whether we allow them to keep part of Seattle, or go in with force and remove the "protesters" this isn't getter any better as time passes. It's a bad deal any way it does end up going down. This IMO is media nightmare in the making.

IMO, we should hope that the situation stays bad as time passes. I hope it's a bad deal and remains a bad deal, because it's 100% around the necks of the liberals, and it will 100% be used to help re-elect Trump.

Where are those damn fault-lines when you need them. West coast is littered with them.
Just laying in the ground barely even moving, I'll bet.

Oh man, half of Seattle (IIRC, the Chaz included) is built on a man made mountain of soil that given the right quake, is going to liquefy (soil liquefaction is scary shit when you research it) and the city will literally slide into Puget Sound.

Some of Portland is the same.
