Better for who? I like building from the bottom up, it may not be any better but you'll take more pride in it if you build it yourself. Of course I tend to start thinking a lower price, but then some of the expensive stuff is cool.It would be cheaper and easier to buy one and modify it.

I have 2 ar15.... bought a m&p years back, and last year I went with a Daniel defense. I want an Ar10, but would like to build it and use it when I go Hog Hunting.
