Wish I had seen this last night... I could have met you out there.

Looks like good weather this morning, low wind at your back and sunny. Have fun!

I shot this morning with the wind coming from the south at 5-10 mph. Bench stuff went pretty well but the off-hand stuff was a bust.

Went out this afternoon. Shot pistols as it was a bit blustery for rifles. And damn was it cold.

I do have a job, but got done what I needed to get done.

Plus I hadn't shot anything in about 2-3 weeks and needed a fix.

Planning on heading out there in the morning but might still be around by then. I'm guessing with all the rain lately it will be BYOJB (bring-your-own-johnboat).

It is very wet. Stopped by on my way home from work 1 day this week to shoot pistols. Bring your hip boots.

MK, thanks for the heads up!

Allen, if you go and can post the conditions, please do. I would like to have some pistol practice.

I can usually hear them shooting from my house, but it was very very quiet today....

I am surprised it was quiet today. With it being sunny and all I thought it would be crowded.

I was going to head out first thing this morning, but decided to sleep in a bit.

The pistol range is usually fairly dry. Just gotta pick the right lane.

    Just got back online...

I bailed out around 10:30am as the wind was a bit cooler than I had expected.

Big puddles in all the usual places but if you've got ankle-high boots you can go anywhere to post your targets.

We just missed you. We started shooting at 11:00.

    It was a bit chilly.

Would it be too hard for ASC to drop a load of aggregate along the target line? It would improve drainage and improve their business during times when a Zodiac is not required to get/set your target.. :)

Really anything to fill in the ruts around the target would be awsome. While I am dreaming.... Some 8" & 12" steel plates at 200yds would be a fantastic improvement. Imagine not having to walk 400yds to change a target, and listening for the clank instead.

    Am I being unreasonable?

I haven't been out there in a few years. But I to can hear the gun fire from my house. Last time I was out there it was 32 degrees and there were only 3 people at the whole range. Practically had the place all to myself.

Not unreasonable at all. I enjoy shooting steel and popup. Gives a more instant feedback.
