Another member mentioned the bi-annual meet-up the forum has. Travel distance and time are a factor for many to be able to attend. Those meet-ups with forum members is part of what cultivates relationships, and makes TGT much different than other forums. I think these bi-annual meet-ups are what makes TGT much stronger community than other forums.

Here's a thought to ponder upon. What if we had several almost regional type bi-annual meet-ups for members? Cut down driving time and distance and get many more members involved and able to meet one another? And if any member wanted to, they could attend several meet-ups if they so desired as well.

We’ve pondered that a lot here. Nothing keeps anyone here from putting together a range day/meetup and advertising it.

Hell, you could call it the East BFE TX Inbred TGT reunion and folks would come. It doesn’t take much time or effort the contact a range and see if they’re friendly to the idea and then make a post and go with it from there.

I thought about regional too. For the dfw area I’m sure my father in law would be cool with smaller meet ups. He’s a gunsmith and would enjoy the potential business and company.
