I've misplaced my pistol. Going to have the LEOs come over and help me out.

OR play hide and seek with my guns. "Look we found another one" "Ok, we're taking these with us" me:"No, Just wanted your free help, I'll be keeping these"

What? You'll have never been in a room of your house and find a gun you didn't know was there? I'm thankful the WI police are so concerned about the civilians they serve and well, that I live in TX.

Not really WI police. Just the numbskulls in a 17 square mile town bordering IL. Half the town extends south into IL and is South Beloit IL.

Looks like they tanked the program anyway.

According to the Examiner, Beloit City Manager Larry N. Arft announced the end of Jacobs' program with the following statement:

While the program was strictly voluntary and required a signed release before police could enter a residence, numerous individuals have expressed concerns about the fact that people's homes would be inspected or searched as part of the process.
