Hahahahahah!!!!!!!!
This is the poorest excuse for a Gunshow I've ever been to. LMAO!
Literally there are THREE tables with guns.
Couple of large tables with reloading stuff. Rest is not gun stuff.
There were only 3 tables. You could be in and out in 15 20 minutes. To many none gun related tables for a gun show. Some of the boxes of ammo looked like they have been on someone's shelf for to long.
It's a tough market. San Antonio already has two large (800+ table) gun shows with the monthly SAXET and quarterly premier events, then there's the one over on Austin Highway run by the owner of the venue and the Texas Gun Shows one in Shertz. I am not sure if Liberty is even holding shows anymore, they had some real stinkers as well (Helotes for example).
As I've said in another thread, I don't see much incentive to go to smaller shows as experience has shown they are not worth the time or trouble. For one, the entry is usually the same for the larger shows but there's far less vendors (usually only 200-300 tables tops) and most of the time I've found they're primarily geared toward hunting/hunters.
I understand Buddy is trying to tap into the outlying market but given that it only takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the big shows from most of the SA metro area there really isn't much driving folks to these smaller events.
As such, I wouldn't bet on this show growing or even surviving in this market...
