Buy M1 Garand or no

I'd love to have a Garand but have other guns I need first. I got it's successor the M1A and a Mini-30. I rarely shoot the M1A ever since I got my Sig 716 years ago though.

I don't know about your M1A, but my 1943 Springfield M-1 shoots much better than my current Springfield M1A.

I like the Garand I've had for several years. I'd like to pick up another, but it won't be at $1000 or more.
