Cali also wants to pipeline fresh water from the Mississippi River to California.
It's not like they have don't a honking huge ocean right there to extract water from or anything.

They need to learn what the phrase “choke on a dick” means. And I don’t mean just any old dick, either; one of them blue whale sized ones.

I've often dreamed about diverting the flooding of the Ohio and Missouri rivers "every dang year" down to the Brazos or Colorado watershed while we stay in drought conditions for years and they suffer catastrophic losses.

Some things just ain't feasible. And pumping water over the Rockies is high on that list.

    Not really.
They could use solar stills to evaporate sea water about 50%.
Dump the concentrated brine back into the sea.
Refill the stills with fresh sea water each night.
The evaporated/distilled water would be piped away for use.
    They’ll never do it tho.
Democrats hate simple, effective, solutions as it limits how much they can steal, excuse me, "redirect to more effective, socially acceptable, programs"!

I am certain the Chinese would be willing to blast tunnels through the Rockies for the right price especially to help their number one agent in place - Joe Biden and the rest of the chinese agents.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer gov. Newsom.

ca was having grid problems before newsom's push for elecrric vehicles and renewables. The shortages will increase at a higher rate with each of his ignorant ideas.

    Exactly.
It’s more of a NIMBY thing IMO
UberLibs always want someone else to pay for their hair-brained schemes. That means actually pay the $ or have to deal with the environmental blight. Usually both.
They will never allow, for instance, wind turbines to mar their views of ocean front, but F you in the next state over. Pipeline across the Rockies? Nobody in the mountain states wants that yet they’ll scream We Need Water or we’re gonna die! That pipeline damn sure will not be running through Beverly Hills.
    See how that works?

They have an ocean of saltwater available to be processed into usable fresh water. The best scenario would be an event resulting in ca and it's liberal population falling into the Pacific. It would however create a temporary pollution problem.

But they'll NEVER build de-sal plants to extract potable water from sea water.
1.) because they don't want to build anything along their precious shoreline that might look ugly.
2.) because they'll never build power plants for the same reason. Can't have an icky old power plant blocking MY view of the mountains, sea shore, etc.
3.) because they're selfish self-centered azzholes. They truly believe they are better than you. So you and your kind should sacrifice for them. after all they're better and more enlightened than you are. They deserve the best life while you and your children can svck eggs.

There are huge unpopulated areas of desert in California.
Solar stills could/should be built out there. They'd look much like a solar panel farm.
Pump water from the sea into the stills each morning. Mr.Sunshine heats the stills. Boils the water out.
Clean fresh water evaps out of the sea water. It gets captured and used.
The resulting left over concentrated brine would be pumped right back into the sea.
The processed distilled water is clean and needs no further processing. Just testing to make sure.
This water would be captured in storage tanks and sent out as needed.
Very little enviromental issues if a spill happens. It's just water.
Each day the process is repeated. Endless fresh water and no excessive power demands.
Of course this would make for a huge operation to make enough water to matter but they're going to have to do something if they want to live in a area with severe water shortages.
Here we are right back at THEY will have to sacrifice their desert views. They'll NEVER do this.
Theyu'll make up some lame excuse about some purple bellied rattleheaded coppermocassion lizard that lives out there so they can't build anything.
