I've left the date (s) up to majority.

50+ responses and I read only one proposed date.

Last year, near San Antonio it was just too damn hot for many dove to have begun migrating by 9/1.
We had much better luck mid-October. Just sayin ...

I'm assuming hot tea and foo-foo cookies are OK?

Decision time folks. Elbe is planning the next Hicksville meet and doesn't want to conflict with a planned event.

Lets nail this down so a major event can be planned.
    Thanks

Not sure of the rules governing voting - but if I get a vote, I'll vote mine "yea" and TexasHD proxy "yea".

Am I to late to play? I wanna play. Please? How much meat does a dove have?

Lets say a family of 4. How many doves to make a meal? And will someone teach me how to clean and prep it? If so, I SO wanna do it. Also, I have a fairly young full blood lab. How can I train her to be a bird dog?

Nope - has more to do with someone wanting to "buy a game"...
And I can honestly say I haven't yet found/ bought it - the bigger shells are not a miracle-cure, and d@mn them for not being...::spit::
Can't be scared to up your game if it might make a difference...
Can always add painkillers and ice-packs - can't always add legendary dove-field cred...
    Gotta think big picture...

Ummm.....ok? So does the need for larger shells mean the bird will feed more because it is huge, or less because you blew it up?
