Would Grand prix be in the professional?
If the participants are paid for that participation. Seems to be the generally accepted definition of professional.
Also, only the premises is off limits. Meaning a building or portion of a building.
From where will you be watching?

I have a suite on the start /finish line
The reliant complex is owned by harris county. Per TPC 30.06(e), a CHL holder can't be issued effective notice for property owned or leased by a government entity. So they'd have to ask him to leave and allow him to make his way out, per simple trespass laws. Question is if they would be allowed to kick someone out for not breaking the law.
46.035 makes it unlawful to carry on the premises of a professional sporting event. That laws stands irrespective of 30.06.
It is my opinion that if it is a suite owned or leased by the race organization, carry would not be lawful.
A private suite not related to the race is not applicable to 46.035, but would be to 30.06.
