Not really. They can fire you for any reason they want. If they don't want you and your gun there, they'll fire you for being five minutes late or eating the last donut in the break room. They'll find a reason.

.... so the solution is, DONT LET ANYONE KNOW YOU'VE GOT THE DAMN THING, and if you're smart enough to work for somone who has security and metal detectors to protect "intellectual property", dont be stupid enough to bring a gun in with you! Amazing how topics that are such a no brainer get so many responses...
