Going up to Hearne next weekend for a family reunion. Our hotel is in College Station. So I figured Friday we will just hang out at the hotel and go find something good to eat, and then spend the rest of the weekend at the reunion. Soooooo......any suggestions? ?????

T-Bone Jones used to have the best ever hand-cut T-Bone steaks and Chicken-Fried steaks I ever ate anywhere.

Sadly, it is no longer in business.

You'll be stuck with Taco Cabana, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Cheddar's, and every other chain found everywhere else in Texas.

For lots of tasty food at a good price, visit the Golden Corral.

Not sure about a restaurant but there's a new gun shop in Hearne that might be worth checking out.

Food in CS? Easy. What do you want? Grub Burger, Napa Flats, 40 Tempura, Atami, Republic, Black Water Draw, etc. plenty of others. I'm here just ask.

Pretty open, I know that Saturday we are all going to eat at the Edge
General Store, So, like I said, we are open to all the suggestions. Something casual, but, good and deferent.

    Amico Nave for italian.

    C&J and JCodys for BBQ.

If you want a dive local place go to Pepe taco on south college.

If you want a soul food experience visit Shanons.

For a great calzone or pizza hit Mr.G's in down town Bryan.

For a south african seafood experience visit Bone Heads.

Freebirds burritos has gone mainstream but its still worth a visit.

Cotten Patch if you want variety.

There is more if those don't meet your interest.
