Here are my lowers with the first one built. After seeing the painted lowers I decided to do mine, it was 20 mins well spent. Rifle is a .458 SOCOM and the other lower will be a 7 in Pistol starting in about 2 days when parts get here, and an SBR when the stamp comes back.

Citadel model paint from Gamesworkshop. Dont like the paint job? :twin:

Quite the opposite. I hired a professional (drunk) painter and yours looks better.

The divider lines between panels in mine is sloppy. I'm not going to go crazy on it though.

I paint miniatures for table top war games as a hobby to stay busy, especially while I was home bound. So I have gotten good at fine lines and details. It did take a couple of coats on the red and white but its a quick drying paint so it didnt add any extra time. Took me about 20 mins to do both, only did the selectors on the stripped lower didnt want to do it on the .458.

The wiring is from the flashlight to pressure switch. Short little barrel on there, so not much room for the light... any further up and it would be over the break. =)

Finally got me a full length hand guard. I haven't shot it yet but it feels much better with significantly greater grip options.
Now I'm thinking about a bi-pod for bench work.

Glock man, What kind of a scope is that, I am in the market for one. The bbl on that AR appears to be about 48 in long, thing must be really accurate, LOL...
