Ours would take off down the hall to the bedroom at our normal bedtime. If we did not follow, after a while he would come back down the hall then stand and stare until someone put him to bed. {Our bed is high and he could no longer make the jump.}And bed time, they will sit and stare at my wife when it's bedtime.
I remember gas being sold at the pump by the liter back in the late 70's. That lasted a month or two.It rates right up there with converting to metric, $1 dollar coins, killing the penny, and instituting mandatory term limits for politicians - a good idea that will never get anywhere.
… Then along comes some idiot asshole shitstain politicians…
Just got back from Luna's , morning run, reading Dad_Roman, striker55, and your posts. Just thinking how unfair, or what a cruel twist it is, that our furry friends are with us far too short of time.Had to put ours to sleep a while back. Old age. Lived a long and good life. So hard to do, though. Thankfully no long decline.
Miss him greatly.
Still look for him when we get home. And at 7:30 p.m when he wanted some treats every evening. Strange not to see him in his chair.
Tossing a shoe usually works. Our dog doesn't understand the concept of DST. This Sunday morning she will want to go out at her regular time. Doe anyone know how to reset the clock on a dog?
Sometimes, mostly catches it and returns for another throw, but with a few tooth holes in it. Dog turns everything into a game.Tossing a shoe usually works.
Simple solution, feed the cat to the dog...The lazy dog isn't the problem since she'd sleep until noon. It's the darn cat that thinks it's starving if I'm not up and feeder her by 5am.
Easiest friggin bill to pass yet on the back burner.I thought it had passed, oh well.
There are 24 hours in a day and probably the rotation of the Earth won't be changing. The amount of light and dark in a day are the same, whatever clock designations given them. Moving the hands of a clock forward or backward doesn't change anything.Instead of DST being a one hour change, why not two or three hours. Whatever happens, the number of hours of daylight won't change.
Thanks for making my point by mansplaining it to everyone. There are 24 hours in a day and probably the rotation of the Earth won't be changing. Some states are acting on their own, why can't Texas https://www.npr.org/2022/11/06/1134562545/daylight-saving-time-permanent-states
