Isn’t this their second “announcement” such as this? Seems like they made this kind of announcement once before. Then they must have reversed course and started selling them again. I’m beginning to think they’re doing this just for the “free” amount of advertising they get. (Really pretty smart on their part; make such a “news worthy” announcement after each school shooting - sit back and watch all the free advertising ya get!).

Is the gain worth the loss? If they do sell them again some point, I'm sure there will be a few that forget or never really knew, but how many more, possibly temporary, customers do you really gain compared to the ones you may have lost forever?

How can it be legal to say you are not going to sell to an age group that can legally buy the item ?

If they force a religious Baker to sell to a gay couple and god forbid you would say you are not going to hire someone due to age ect ect ect.

They kinda disproved their point...in a way. They mentioned he had bought a shotgun from their store, so why aren't they pulling shotguns? Someone could do as much damage with an 870 if not more.

Well, Dick's sporting goods are showing their "ass" again. They announced they will "no longer be selling assault weapons or magazines, as simply words are no longer enough!". For the record, isn't this the same DICKS (pun intended) that QUIT selling them right after New town? Hypocrite bastards!

More people are killed with baseball bats than AR's. Wonder if they are going to quit selling assault bats too.
