There aren't many of those left. I last saw some (besides the 'decorative' ones we have here) about a year ago on abandoned poles along a railroad track. They're all gone now.Glass insulators.
Thats a nice one. I would love to have one from the 1950's. My step dad bought one new in 1958 that he keeps at his ranch. We shoot it all the time.Picked up a 1953 build in 1964. Paid $60.00 with only 5 rounds through it. Shoot it every few months. View attachment 208561
I like that 336 and it's in excellent condition. I bet that rifle dropped some deers.A 336CS model from 1983. Didn’t buy it new, got it for $500 about 4 years ago.
