On the phone with @Axxe55 now. Prognoses is not good. 1st stroke, about 2 - 3 weeks was a massive one which left his left side almost totally paralyzed. Mondays stroke left his right side slightly paralyzed. Physical therapist will be there today to start therapy on his left side. Jonas says..thanks everyone for the prayers. But don't stop. Keep them coming. I'm going out there shortly to visit with him and take him my I Pad/tablet so he can get on line. He said he can't do it with his phone.

Again, not sure how long he will be in the hospital, but he is allowed visitors. Palestine Regional Hospital room 324.

That sucks. I hope his wife is dealing with its the best she can. Tell him I made a pot of chili & if he wants some & a couple of packs of smokes I'll get off my ass & make the drive.

Sounds like we had the same type of stoke ( pontine ). Don’t let anyone discourage you about recovery. I was told I would never get out of a hospital bed again and to forget about ever walking again. Bottom line, most Doctors don’t know shit about Stroke. I just put in hay for the winter and was staking 3 strand bales. Was not easy and I can only go three rows high but you can damn well get back. I went from a lump of clay in a bed to being independent. It will take a lot of sweat and support. Look in to constrainment therapy by Dr. E. Taub. ( it help me and you can do it on your own ). When you get to where you can talk comfortably, don’t hesitate to call. Take care and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

When I talked toAxxe a couple hours ago they were gonna move him so I'll call back tonight.

Pops should be there by now.

    I'll wait for his update.

When he started typing funny a couple weeks back he apparently had just had the big stroke.

We should have realized something was up.
