When those two and Hammer are gone for good, I'll re-up my membership. Until then, other 2A organizations that are actually holding the line will get my support.I am mad at the LaPierre and Cox, I really think they should be replaced. I am a member of NRA and know that we still need the NRA, no other organization for firearms has the clout the NRA does. My problem with the NRA is not standing their ground, if they continue bending we will all break.
Yep. Sure is.

If you look at the responses to their twitter page on that statement, and keep in mind that social media is a liberal stronghold, they are getting massacred.
Yeah, I just got the same email in response to my kiss my ass message I sent them Saturday. It’s their press release word for word.YETI reply to my email to them. Whether this helps or not, at least the perceived anti-gun/anti-2A narrative is being heard and those of us who are pro-gun and pro-2A are hearing it and we are responding and these businesses rightly or wrongly (not sure who is right or wrong in this case) should know we can choose to go elsewhere to spend our money and other vendors can fill the void for those products and items.
“We're writing in response to your recent email inquiry.
A few weeks ago, YETI notified the NRA Foundation, as well as a number of other organizations, that we were eliminating a group of outdated discounting programs. When we notified the NRA Foundation and the other organizations of this change, YETI explained that we were offering them an alternative customization program broadly available to consumers and organizations, including the NRA Foundation. These facts directly contradict the inaccurate statement the NRA-ILA distributed on April 20.
Further, the NRA-ILA stated in that same public communication that "[YETI has] declined to continue helping America's young people enjoy outdoor recreational activities." Nothing is further from the truth. YETI was founded more than 10 years ago with a passion for the outdoors, and over the course of our history we have actively and enthusiastically supported hunters, anglers and the broader outdoor community. We have been devoted to and will continue to directly support causes tied to our passion for the outdoors, including by working with many organizations that promote conservation and management of wildlife resources and habitat restoration. From our website to our film footage and from our social media posts to our ambassadors, YETI has always prominently featured hunters pursuing their passions. Moreover, YETI is unwavering in our belief in and commitment to the Constitution of the United States and its Second Amendment.
Thanks for reaching out to YETI.”

they didn't really "relent"... They just came up with some lame excuse to explain it, and didn't change their behavior. Kinda like with the current fiasco....after some back-and-forth the company relented. They blamed the “no guns” policy on the attached bar, but the signs, which prohibit concealed and open carry and aren’t cheap, were also preventing carry inside the store."
Lone Star Gun Rights apologized for jumping the gun with Yeti.
If Yeti is telling the truth, then NRA is in the wrong.
hmmmm...

Pretty much.. I'm kinda sick of living here.Austin
The Yeti product is produced in the Philippines. They are having second thoughts. It's to late and there is an American made one thats a better deal.Won mine at a NRA event. I think (?) his brother and him had a falling out and brother started Ozark Trail brand, which is as good if not better than YETI and at about less than half the price.
