Only 4. If he ever wants to re do it there is enough meat left to mill it off and do something else.........it's about the same depth as the factory engraving..

@V-Tach not to derail your thread but the next Humble Gun Show I am going to have
'3 Nails Coating LLC' do some laser engraving at their booth. They do good and honest work.

Perfectly explained. I can only add that it also should be worn open carry, in an equally elaborate holster. Kydex would be a major faux pas.

I guess it is another "Texas" thing I do not understand. But, then again, my second wife often questioned whether or not I really was a Texan.

Other modifications were 80 to 70 series conversion, mainspring changed to 17 lb and full length guide rod....
