    Equilibrium
    The Omega Man
The Hunger Games is ok but the sequels were way too predictable

Don't forget Demolition Man, RoboCop and The Running Man too.
The Running Man - the short story not the insipid movie! Read it and The Long Walk - by Stephen King under the pseudonym Richard Bachman - as they take place in a dystopia not far from here in time or space.

I thought the attack scene for The Day After was pretty much a textbook example of a Russian ICBM attack.

Will we be living a dystopian like life in the near future?

From a film series that may have dystopian elements at times, depending on your "point of view", I give you a warning.......

    Great suffering is certainly dystopian.
