I’ll take a bit of a tangent and reco any movie from Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead franchise.

They’re a bit more campy horror but I love ‘em.

Equilibrium, though the CGI doesn't really hold up

Man i need to re-watch that movie. It has been forever.

I’m a big fan of the The Expanse. I’m kinda sad we probably won’t see another Dredd movie from the articles I read. Could be a really fun universe.

If anyone is interested in anime, Attack on Titan is good and The Kabinari of the Iron Fortress is also good.

Omega Man was a classic. I Am Legend seemed like a knock-off to me.
How about Soylent Green and Book of Eli?

I Am Legend was based off the same book as Omega Man, as was Last Man On Earth.

IMO, Omega Man was the best of the three adaptations of the book.

Soylent Green is a really dark and scary movie, but very well done, and a great movie. Set in the year 2022!

Book of Eli is good one as well. First time I saw it, I didn't realize till the end that he was blind!

Cloud Atlas is another good movie that was very well done.
