I have no problem with gals playing sports. If they want to play with the guys, OK too. To 'convert' to a gal cause you are a loser? Nope. Or complain cause you don't get paid as much as the guys? Nope. But I don't consider any 'sport' as a viable occupation. Other than the income from selling paraphernalia, beer and hot dogs, what has the Ts$ spent on sports really produced? NOTHING! Well old stadiums that need to get rebuilt at taxpayer expense. Build character? NOPE, that is a lie by the schools and coaches to get paid.
Then there is the gambling side were everybody but the bookies lose.
Yes, I played at baseball, BB, track and other sports as a kid, then I grew up. Fun and exercise plus a little competition. So how is learning to 'hold' the guy in football and not get caught (an example) building character? Learning to cheat? Guess that help in business?
