I had cataract surgery two years ago and now have 20/20 distance vision. But can't see the front sight without cheaters and then it's hard to see the target. What I have works for pistol but at longer rifle ranges it's a problem. Any doc suggestions who has worked with shooters?
When one gets older they typically need help seeing objects up close .pardon my ignorance, but what are cheaters?

Just saw this website mentioned in a video on YouTube. Might be what you're looking for.

Yeah, they can do that. It's especially easy when you specify the distance. There are still some good points to consider among Dr. Wong's writings.I went to my opthamologist last year and told him the exact distance I wanted focused for shooting glasses and they hooked me up.
Hey Byrd, I got some of those for my wife off of amazon when they had them for $29. She had laser eye surgery and now sees clear at a distance but up close she needs cheaters. She couldn't see her front sight clearly but now she has no problems.
Gonzo , I have the same issue I can see distance pretty good but front sight is blurry. I notice there is a top bifocal and a bottom bifocal. How do you decide Which one ?
