Sure you don’t want a job with us Gilbert? You don’t need any computer skills to cut P.O.’s

    Zero communication skills desired.
Zero problem solving skills desired. Just blame it on my department man.

Well as it turns out, that somebody won't be me anymore. Apparently there's not much of a market left for interactive phone menus and the company went broke trying to support 20 year old platforms.

Seems you could slide into a position with a telecom VAR pretty easily. Something like Datavox or Shamrock in Houston comes to mind.

Sick to tears of telephony though. See my post a couple pages or so back. Also, needs to be DFW, unless it pays enough for the wife to be able to quit HER job.

Well word is my employer might close shop in 6 months or layoff/fire soon. I’m pretty ticked off. They got a bullseye on a long timer i work with. I’ll be looking ahead of time. Ohhhh boy, but you know you learn a lot from watching a business make horrible choices.

I'm quite puzzled that I haven't received a single reply yet to any of the ~50 or so applications I've sent out over the weekend. /S

Then again, I've never gotten a job by that method anyway.

Are you applying to evergreen postings or actual open positions?

It’s only noon on Monday morning. Has the application period closes on any of the positions?
