Wish I could shoot outta my backyard in Cinco Ranch/Katy. I don't think the neighbors would like it but I have counted at least 30 fly over within range just now.

Got 4 total for the evening. One was a little close and the pretty much ruined. Total of 8 dove in the freezer for 3 seasons worth of hunting.

If this season keeps up like it is I may get to cook them this year.

The dove were attacking the shit out of them. Most of the time in pairs. They work great.

Had my brother in law out this evening, he recommended one also.

Dove got a bad habit of landing on the power lines to watch the tank, then flying off in the other direction.

My girlfriend was quite a bit shy of the daily bag limit from the morning hunt. Unfortunately, the afternoon hunt was a bit of a bust.

Wasn't ready to shove her thumb in a bird gut yet, but we'll get there.
