    Gunz are icky.
Very nice! My DW love story started at a local gun shop where I was looking at a new Kimber KHX and just happened across a used stainless Specialist so I asked to see it. As soon as I picked it up I said "Holy shit" and I was in love. The fact they let me jew them down to 1100 bones for it didn't hurt either

    Similar experience.
Was in a Mom&Pop gun shop.
They had several DW’s on the shelf.
Asked to see the Guardian and the drool started. It was awful.
The gun is a real pleasure to shoot.
    Softest shooting 1911 I have.
    Runs very reliable too.
The DW bobtail Commander in 10mm is on my list.

Son of a bitch! Love it...
Yeah. It shoots so well I really don’t like carrying it in public, lol.
I would hate to be in a situation where I had to use deadly force. I do my absolute best to maintain an extremely high level of situational awareness and avoid things/people/places that look shady.
If ( God forbid) a shady situation comes to me, I would rather have my plain Jane stock G19 in the evidence locker with a case number engraved on it than the Silverback.

Besides, I only liked it out there bc I was running cattle and shit.
    Well played!

Not trying to ruin the 1911 orgy here, but it's still not a plastic gun so I don't feel bad. How y'all feel about the Sig 220/227s? Thinking about pulling the trigger on one

If you can find one of the German 220's get it. They are a fine piece of metal. I have a newer one, and its nice to shoot, but not like the older 220s. Had a two-tone one back in the day, and I would love to have it back.

Apologies btw for the "racist" language I used earlier (according to the moderators). Didn't mean it that way at all.
I hear that phrase from Hebrews more than anyone else. Shocked anything was said about it. Guess they have not been to a souk and witnessed tier one haggling. ;) Bonus if you understand Hebrew and can follow along.
