Avoid Dirty Al's in Brownsville. I hear the one on the island is better, but haven't tried that one. Pier 19 on the island is pretty good, but there's some great places in Isabel, too. Don't even have to cross the bridge.

I don't know...we've had people show at 1100 and be gone by noon. 45 minutes to downtown from many of our north central haunts would be doable. UNLESS we can get Bone Daddy's to reprise the costume show from Halloween ...no need to hurry out then!
