Ha! My last time in Mentone was to get a pic of me & my bike in front of the sheriff's office for a Grand Tour (A-Z named low population counties in 2004). I declined to gas up due to prices there. Low fuel light came on somewhere between there & Kermit but setting sun on the instruments made me not notice the light. I was running on fumes but I made it to Kermit. Good times.
