Turkey's they might hurt but with cattle pigs aren't really a threat. I have yet to see pigs do anything with cattle and thats out of several thousand head. They will eat some of their natural grazing or wheat but not much.

I never said they didn't carry diseases just that the transfer is not as common as people think. Last report I read showed a handful of confirmed cases of psv. Like I said earlier the animals will have to be in a close quarters type area in a constant rate for transfer. Deer and other animals in contact with livestock can carry it as well. The few cases of transfer were from supplemental feed where both could eat from the same dispensary.

No not at all I love shooting them but don't make any excuses as to why. I just don't see the "I'm doing for the farmer's" side of it for a excuse and I am directly involved in that community. Besides unless you are killing large amounts in a night/day you are doing little good at all. The best ways to get rid of them are trapping, helicopter or atv with guns.

Benelli super black eagle with extended mag filled with 00 works very well. In a wheat field pigs just can't outrun a 900 ranger.
