Is this ammo good stuff at good price OR just stuff at good price? Pardon the ignorance. Just trying to learn.

It's decent enough. Not target grade ammo, just standard XM193. Just as good as Federal Lake City or PMC Xtac. It is reliable in my experience. The price is right. The cheapest I've seen any brass case 5.56 ammo. Works out to about $4.80 for a box of 20.

My AR-15 has only known PMC 115gr .233 fmj brass. Except along time ago I ran one black box of 20 American Eagle .223 through it. At the time, PMC was .30/rd. This was ten years ago. There are many brands, styles, loads, etc. Just kinda tough for me to keep up with them all. Thanks for responding.

I'm hoping the fix has been done

But the problem the fix cures doesn't seem like much of a problem to me...will see if it affects the trigger pull or not.
