I know this isn’t a gun related deal but I know we all like a good pocket knife. This is a great deal on one of Spyderco’s best designs

The great news is these knives have the Japanese steel rather than Taiwanese.

Bad news for me are those craptacular plastic handles.

I found a spyderco knife once while at work. I was amazed at how cheap the handles felt. It was like a cheap gas station knife.

I found the owner and returned it.

The one I found was a full serrated blade. Another thing I didn't like. It was very full from use and I don't know how to sharpen serrated blades.

Who buys a fully serrated knife?

They work well for people who don’t sharpen knives. Back in the day all Spydercos were fully serrated.

The guy who started Spyderco got the idea at a steak house that served steak on metal plates and only serrated steak knives were used. He knew a restaurant was not going to sharpen knives, so he saw the awesome value of a serrated knife.

I’ve got Spydercos that are over 30 years old and still don’t need sharpening. One of which has been an edc for all of that time.

    I have these two.

Spyderco Stretch 2 Signature Lightweight Folding Knife with 3.43" ZDP-189 Steel Blade and British Racing Green FRN Handle - PlainEdge - C90PGRE2

Spyderco Manbug Lightweight Folding Knife with 1.97" ZDP-189 Stainless Steel Blade and High-Strength British Racing Green FRN Handle - MGREP

What ever that steel is, its amazing. Hard and sharp, sharp, sharp! Four years of use and still razor sharp.

Prices of 9mm are starting to drop. I've even caught some on ammo seek as cheap as 36 cents a round. Still too rich for my blood, but it shows me the market is starting to settle. I hope the neckbeards at academy get stuck with all the ammo they bought for guns they dont have.
I bought 100 rounds of wwb at academy for $32 yesterday. Not too bad at all

Ammo is definitely starting to be more available. Use to be, NOTHING survived the morning Academy line! Now, every Academy I’ve gone into in the middle of the afternoon, usually had a decent amount left. I just left one (needed socks) and they had tons of the .223 range packs of 200 and an insane amount of 6.5 Grendel for some reason! Lots of .224 Valkyrie too.
