Went about 120 miles today just enjoying the sites. Stopped at every historic marker I passed except one in Meridian I couldn't find. Think the sign may have lied.

Hit Morgan, Walnut Springs, Meridian, and Clifton before heading back home. Wished I had packed a lunch but guess I'll know better next time.

Gonna look for a large Texas road map so I can start crossing off highways. Be nice to find one with locations of the Historic markers so I can start crossing them off and keeping track of where I've been.

You were dead on about not having a destination. There's a lot more to see when your not actually going anywhere.
