I saw a post on another site that said GT's had some gen 3 glock 20's at under 350 ? is that correct

I stopped by there today on a fluke. They had two G20's but they were Gen 2's, not 3's. One was $349, one was $329. I bought the cheaper one.

They're having a big 5.11 sale this weekend - lots of deals on that stuff if you're into it. Door prizes every hour, with a grand prize of a Bushmaster drawn tomorrow.

They also had a Ruger GP100 for $399 that I reluctantly passed up because the Glock was higher on the list and I couldn't justify both right now. I will regret that. Also saw three or four Ruger Security Six's in the $349-ish range.

Oh, and 500 round boxes of Hornady .223 practice ammo for $149.

One 15 round magazine, no box. GT had new mags on the shelf for $21.95.

GT Distributors almost always has Gen 3 Glock 22's with 3 mags for 318 or so. And if they don't have them atm, they will almost certainly be getting some.

Lacquered steel case. The Federal 5.56 brass case (55gr) at 37c/rd is a good deal.

The other glock 20 is now gone. They knocked 20 bucks off the ticket price so it was 329. It had 1 10 round mag but they sold me 15 rounder at 10% off so basically what I would have gotten them for online lol.

So for 400 bucks I walked out the door with a well used g20 with 1 10rnd mag and 2 15 rounders. I am happy. And a bonus I am the original owner of a gen2 g17 and really like gen 2s grips the best so win win.

Awesome deal - congratulations! Now, where to find ammo. I didn't see any at GT's, and the only thing Academy had is self defense stuff. This is going to be my woods gun, mainly as self-defense (or eradication) for the hogs I often encounter so I don't know if people-self-defense ammo is really the best thing. I need some relatively cheap plinking ammo for fun time, and probably some basic hollow-points for woods time, if there is such a thing in 10mm. Everybody on-line seems to be out of pretty much everything.

I have to stop by tomorrow to work on some guns for them. They have a big batch of S&W 39's and 59's. Trade ins that have been sitting for a long time. Apparently some have "issues". I am going to see if I can resolve the issues. I may canibalize some to get them as many working guns as possible.

There may be some "as is" guns available for parts guns.

GT had four g17s yesterday. No g19s. 2 g23s. And a couple g22s

They actually have a BUNCH of third gen S&W's. 5906, 6906, 5903, 3906, etc. A few '70 series with sig type decockers and some DAO's. For you 10mm fans, they have some 1006's. I have reserved a 1006 and a 1066 from this batch. AMAZING how many LE trade in guns they have that need to be sorted, cleaned, diagnosed, fixed (as necessary) and sold.
