It's a 9mm. I could not pass it up for the $320 plus 10% off they wanted. Just to be safe I will get new springs and a SRT in it later. The guy at the counter told another customer they had more in the back mixed with P228s and P229s. They put out whatever they grab from that crate.

I really like gt, bought a couple of used items from them.

There seems to be some company-based concerns about legally selling to non-citizens (with a hunting license) which is unfortunate but great shop, great staff and a really nice used selection.

    To All,

Personally, I am VERY pleased with the "carried much" but "shot little at all" S&W Model 12 "snubbie" for 259.oo less 10%.

The last time that I was there (3 weeks ago or so), they even had a 4" Colt's COBRA in near mint condition for less than 300.oo. = That's a fairly rare 1950s piece.
    (I left it at GT for a Colt's collector/ADDICT.)

Fwiw, my adult daughter lives in Travis County & I cannot go to visit her W/O visiting GT.

    To ALL,

Fwiw, my daughter & I went to GT today & it looks as if they've gotten "another haul" of revolvers/SA out of PR.

    At least 2 NICE Colt's Cobras in 3" too. = 259.00 each.

    breakingcontact,

A Colt's COBRA is a D-frame revolver that has 6 shots & it's AIRWEIGHT. = Weighs about ONE POUND loaded and about the same size as a J-frame S&W Chief's Special.
(MUCH BETTER QUALITY than the S&W, imVho, too.)

The sole "problem" with any of the Airweight revolvers is that they don't take well to PLUS+ or (especially) +P+ ammo. =====> I use nothing but Hornady's Critical Defense 110 grain (YES, there is a NON-Plus P loading.) in my Airweight revolvers.
