    I would not be overconfident on that. We are talking about politicians, after all.

    My understanding of bills in the state legislature, if it passes the first committee, it gets a floor vote by 3/5 to move to another committee, and then another floor vote, etc. Then to the other branch (senate or house), rinse & repeat.

    I hear the legislature has anti-gun bills introduced into committee all of the time, and they get past the first few steps. So far as the party make-up of both senate and house, I think there is little chance of this one getting past.

    Is it still illegal for 18-20 year olds to purchase handgun ammo?

    I had a buddy's 18 yo get a Henry in .44 mag but could not get ammo a few years ago.(dad had to buy it for him)

    It's been a long time since anyone thought I was under 21, but I recall Walmart asking about it. Probably just store policy as I know I bought handgun ammo elsewhere without showing ID.

    I got ID’d for a bottle of 4 Roses a couple of weeks ago in Michigan.

    I may have snarkily said “most under 21s aren’t buying $70 bottles of bourbon”
