Thank you. Losing the plates was the very first job. The first folks I got to know were at the DMV, the inspection mechanic, and then DPS for a new license.
Followed very quickly by a membership at the Leon County Gun Club and a cherished Texas License to Carry Handgun.
After dealing with CA gun laws I literally teared up when the card came in the mail.
Hats off to Bear Ballistics for helping me get there.

Welcome. What part of Utah are you from? Beautiful country up there. My aunt lived in Springville for years, my dad and I just moved her down here to Texas last February. We got spared on that drive, it'd had a nasty snow storm a few days prior, and right after we left - but we had bright sunny weather and clear roads for our entire trip.

We were seriously looking at St. George before deciding that Texas was where we were escaping too - family was the tipping point but Utah *almost* became home for us a couple years ago.

Born in SLC. Lived in the Utah County Provo area until I was 34 then moved to Salt Lake County (Midvale, Sandy, West Jordan) until my job moved us to CA about 9 years ago.

I actually lived in a cabin 10 miles up Hobble Creek Canyon above Springville for a couple of years. Paradise!

Rural Palastine, the burbs or old Palestine? Wow never thought I break it down that way. 2 of my best friends live in Palestine & both pretty close to gather, I have a 3rd friend who owns property in Palestine.
I guess The Burbs. We are inside the loop in a nice neighborhood. Corner lot on Inwood Drive just off of Crockett :-)
We are hunting for some land just outside of the city limit to spread out a bit.

    Hi all.

I am happy to have found what looks like a very well put together group of like minded firearms enthusiasts. Thank you.
My wife and I moved our family to Texas, from California in January of this year.
We both were born, grew up, made our mistakes (ex wife), met, were married, and spent the first half of our marriage in Northern Utah. California was an unfortunate stopover on our journey. We are grateful to be out and even more grateful to be in Texas.
I promise to vote conservative, to honor God Country Texas and Family, and to keep my powder dry and my guns clean and lubed.

    Michael
