It looks likes Savage may not make the meet, can anyone else bring a backup grill?

If not, it's basically too late for a plan B. We've got the on-site grill and people bringing gas. Fingers crossed it'll work. If not, we can pull the grate off the onsite grill, prop it up on some bricks, light a bag of charcoal under it, and cook on the ground. I've done it more than once.

ETA - Did some thinking. Yeah, I've cooked on the ground plenty of times but I'd sure hate for someone to have to do it this time.

Here's hoping someone answers Curtis' plea.

I would offer to bring mine but I don't think it would survive the trip in the big truck. She ain't no Caddy.........

If the situation looks bad we could always pitch in and get a cheap charcoal grill or two from Walmart and give them away as prizes. Or just steal a few shopping carts and turn them on their sides and use them. Wait, I meant borrow..........
