so this was a serious post?

the math on a 45 ACP does not lend itself well to succesfully harvest hogs.

for the 300 bucks go with a ruger american

just keep in mind a 308 might go through the hog

All of those calibers will go through the hog. I shot one with my 30-30 using 125g flat HPs. Its a lighter load that I developed for my kids. That round blew a 4" exit would out of the backside of a pig I shot last year.

I don't take many body shots on them but I have used a .308 on its shoulder and it blew a 3" exit and a good sized entrance

Basically it'd be cool to have a light carbine that can kill a hog and use cheap ammo
I already have plenty of rifles that'll do it. But you get my point

Ha...I killed a deer with a 25 acp. To be honest I had already shot it with a 308 but it was still breathing when I walked up to it. Shot it in the ear with the .25 and that finished it off.
Did it die or just go deaf in one ear.

I've finished off a doe before with my 9mm and walked off. Came back to her sitting up and looking around. Don't use FMJ...
