Holiday Porch Pirate

I had a video of a porch pirate shopping on my street a few nights ago. He left empty handed that night but my dogs and I repackaged a few amazon 'prime' packages for his next visit.

He was wearing a hood but didn't seem to be concerned by my neighbor's or my cameras.

Porch Pirates have to be one of the lowest forms of life. I'll never understand how someone can so brazenly steal folks packages, especially around Christmas. I can't imagine Ralphie not getting his Red Rider BB Gun because of some jack wagon.

This happened frequently in memphis but I didn't expect to see it in Savannah.

If you belong to the Ring neighborhood you see videos just about every day. There should be a law about stealing packages, oh wait I think there is.

During the last few weeks, most of the videos on ring in my neighborhood are people who aren't responsible to keep up with their pets, only one in last week of a porch pirate.

same, luckily I have never been victimized. I seldom order expensive stuff online anyway.

I’d almost laugh at the disappointment a porch pirate would have over the useless crap my wife orders online.

Porch pirates? Heck, I've got a motion sensor in my mailbox at the curb that lets me know when the door has been opened. Unfortunately, I have to use mailorder for prescription drugs that aren't inexpensive. When something of value is "suppose" to be delivered by usps on a certain day, I go check asap.

I have two dogs that should alert me to a delivery as well as cameras to alert and record activity. If I'm not there at the time of delivery, they can't prevent a porch pirate.

Glitter bombs with fart spray are my favorites. You can never clean up all of the glitter, and fart spray can clear a room.
