If you have a large turnout, I recommend you get on the calendar. The sun is a pain in the face until noon. When the weather is nice, it's not a problem after that. When it's hot, it cooks your behind in the early afternoon.

Are you just speaking for this range in particular? We have done 3 or 4 meets at hicksville now. We always get there pretty early and stay till 4 or 5. The heat and sun is no problem. If you are forced to use your gun, or if you're hunting-you're not gonna wait until conditions are absolutely perfect. You just gotta adapt and overcome! :thumbup:

I am speaking of this club. If I show up as a member and an event is not scheduled, I expect to be able to get to the range. The same goes with all the extras... clubhouse, etc.
