No, a suit is uncouth out hunting. Soldiers, marines and Navy SEALS are clean-cut, clean-shaven and still look couth in camo fatigues with M16's and machine guns, speaking of tactical field environments. A suit is couth for car salesman. A clean-pressed white shirt, tie and apron is couth for grocery clerk. I'm from the days of clerks, salesmen, workers and employees, not "associates".

I think you should worry about yourself.

I'm not worried about myself or any person here. Trying to be social. Even dove hunting itself is a social event made of many legends. You have to shut up while fishing, in duck blind or at a deer stand, but dove hunting is so full of shooting the bull all shooting session long. If you can consistently take a limit of doves on any given day with no more than one box of shells, 25 count each, you are the Doctor of Dove in my book.

It’s actually a Dove shoot and not a hunt. That said I wear everyday cloths.

You are quite correct. The hunting is scouting for one or more places to shoot preseason. Often it means knocking on farmers' doors and getting permission. But hunting to many means killing a critter with a gun or trying to.

Nope. I have my rattlesnake belt I had made when I was 16. No where close to fitting. Wore 32 x 36 jeans for years. Then it seemed overnight I got my man body. Don't think I could wear smaller than 40" waist pants, even if I lost 30 lbs.

My bird belt I bought at around 30. Got the adjustable belt on purpose.

I wear jeans, a orange hat and a button-up shirt.

Usually have a cheap ice chest with a $1 bag of ice for the trip home.

Looking forward to it too. Gonna be hunting the south zone in Karnes County this year. I hunted there about 3 years ago and they had lots of dove back then. I usually wear a camo t-shirt, blue jeans, snake boots and a ball cap. Mo-jo’s and cold drink are definitely on my list too.
