Just wondering how long it took some you get it. I just sent mine in

From the day I mailed my packet to actually receiving my license was right about 40 days. This was recent, took my class in October and got my license in December.

I mailed mine December 5th and the status shows they are "manufacturing" the ID. I'm expecting it to show up in the mail in a few days.

It took the ours 5-7 days once it changed to mailed out status

Thanx, I'll relax a bit. I mailed Dec 17, figured they got it Dec 20, still shows waiting for materials...man, this is like sitting in front of the chiminey waiting for Santa......

It won't show as received and background processing for about 3 weeks... even armed with that knowledge, I still checked at least 1 time everyday. Once they finally acknowledged receiving it, it went pretty quick. Mine took about 40 days mailbox to mailbox. Mailed my paperwork Nov 14 and received around Dec 20.

Congrats, it's a good feeling. I know once I got mine I wasn't planning on going out that night but ended up having to run and grab some things so a quick trip to HEB while carrying happened. It's a great yet slightly uneasy feeling at first but you get past that.
