He doesn't know about all the other gun forums. 99.9% of the those members don't support government infringements on our rights. Again it's people like alterspaces that have us constantly under attack.
Also, most gun enthusiasts I‘d say aren’t on forums at all. In the circle of people I know outside of this forum who own guns, exactly zero even talk about their firearms outside of a passing comment in conversation. The representation on this forum is a very small part of actual gun ownership in Texas.

I disagree, people in Canada, Australia, and Japan are still living comfortably. 2A might guarantee a portion of our rights, but we don't need all of them of live comfortably.
That is just plain ignorant. Holy shit no American should ever have that attitude. What part of our government is corrupt don't you get.

Absolutely, just like NRA membership the majority aren't members. What's disturbing is there are gun owners that don't think the 2nd is that important.

Yeah, but literally 99.9% of people are living that way. You're part of only 0.1%. Look at how few people there are in this forum? How close is that number to 30 million? population of TX. I don't know why it's shocking to you that most people just don't care about these things. Please don't bully me into agreeing, I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion, I'm just living my own life and you guys seem to have a problem with that. It's not like I'm pushing anything on you, like how schools push trans ideology on your kids. That's egregious, but by pushing 2A like this on me, it's about the same as what libs do with their wacky ideas. I'm also not talking to you only, 2 other people responded below me, it's sad people feel the need to dog pile. We don't like when feminists and BLMers do that, so you guys shouldn't do that either.
You come to TEXAS GUN TALK, say that 2A and other enumerated rights aren't all that important, then whine when people disagree with you and complain members of the forum are "dogpiling" on you.

Do you need to retreat to your safe space after gaslighting and stirring the shit pot? You have been suspect ever since joining this forum. Your Californian utopia awaits, don't delay, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

From the way he/she/it talks...most of them.
I agree, I'm very simple and don't need much at all.

I think you misread by intentions because of your bias while reading what I post. The thing is, I'm not claiming 2A isn't important and that you guys shouldn't be doing your thing believing in it. You should go look up why I even mentioned it in the first place. It's because someone asked me a question, why I would move back to a nonfree state. I answered the question, that's all. Should I stop answering your guy's questions then? I'm just a friendly guy with nothing to hide. I'm willing to answer. but my answers don't deserve to be hated, you guys solicited them. I did not solicit advice on why my answers are wrong, yet you guys just can't help yourselves. You think I'm whining? Put yourself in my shoes, all you guys are whining too, about an answer I gave that you guys solicited. So as far as I can tell, you guys whined first. Now that's the real gaslighting. It's sad that you guys stirred the shit pot by asking me questions and now I'm being framed for it. Maybe have some self-awareness, a little maturity goes a long way, but good thing for you, you don't need it here because TGT is your safe space, not mine.

How does 2A prevent this? We had a quarantine too. Nobody protested using martial law during covid quarantine. Frankly, only BLM managed martial law.

I'm on a number of Australian fishing forums, and boy everyone seems just fine to me.

Yeah I was shortsighted on that part.

I rarely talk about this, but I moved to TX from CA seven years ago and will never fuckin' go back. And FYI, the 2A, guns, was not in my top 5 list of reasons for escaping commie CA, other considerations were far worse. And as I predicted, gotten worse in the last seven years.

I'd rather be in a trailer park in Nebraska than CA. And to live in God's Country is a privilege I don't take for granted.

    Welcome.
It is cool to see you just speak the truth. I understand and enjoy good storytelling but, deception ain't that.

Just my opinion. You should be careful what you post. All that moving BACK to Cali talk may make others question your mental state.

Lemme clear this up a tiny bit... people that left Cali and escaped here to God's country but want to go back to Cali are obviously unbalanced and will doubtless try to make our Beautiful Texas resemble their delusion. Bless their little pea pickin' hearts!
This is completely unacceptable and extremely dangerous. Those so inflicted must be regarded with extreme caution and strongly encouraged to either; repent and embrace their incredibly good fortune or immediately proceed to the nearest Exit, quickly and quietly.

Thats is so wrong on every level. " Live comfortably" is just fine, for a resident of a zoo, and clearly you.

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety (live comfortably), deserve neither Liberty nor Safety

Wow you are moving back to a state that denies its citizens their Constitutional rights and that isn't important to you. That makes you part of the problem. Our government is corrupt and they want to make all of us their subjects and people like you are helping them.

Lets not try to talk someone out of moving *back* to California from Texas. Anyone from California that moves out of Cali, and then wants to move back most certainly should. I'd even go so far to say that Texas should adopt just a hair of socialism to show how friendly Texas and Texans really are by having the state pay a bounty or a grant for anyone wishing to move *out* of Texas to any blue state, upto say, $2,000 per adult person as a once in a lifetime payment as a parting gift to help them return to their homeland.

California is a gorgeous state but its inhabited and run by people nuttier than squirrel shit. Let the nuts return to the tree form which they fell, don't try to talk anyone out of ever moving back. Let them congregate back in that state and deal with the mess its fallen into if they express a desire to return.

Lmao, so ironic how a bunch of non Texans have all this great insight and input. There is a huge difference between a Texas resident and Texan.

Example A. If I move to Africa, I’m still a Texan because that’s where I was born and raised, so that’s what I will always be. Can’t just move somewhere and magically become from there, you now only live there, hints the resident part.

Example B. I can’t walk into a women’s restroom or lady store and then be a woman, because I wasn’t born a fkn woman. A lot of hypocrites running around here with some fkd up ideology. It’s the same shit but most of y’all only claim 1 of my examples as a mental illness.
