Seriously though, we're always glad to have folks like you join us. Just remember, there is no drink called "soda" or "pop" down here. The generic term for soft drinks is "coke". In Texas, the following conversation is quite common:

"Hey, you want a coke?"

"Yeah."

"What kind?"

"Sprite."

Hey, now, I was giving the most extreme example. For me it's always Dr Pepper - but you know as well as I do "coke" refers to anything fizzy that's not beer.
