I'm taking a Canadian, who's never shot a gun, to the range.

Taking foreigners to the range is always fun. Good for you BC and yes good to see you back. The best trip I had was taking some Asians to the range. We had a blast as well as joking with them and the AK47 they loved firing the most. I had to joke with them on why they didn't fire any AK's when they were kids in Vietnam. They laughed their arses off as they were not vietnamese. We are still very good friends today and that was years ago...

On a winter trip to Canada back in '79, the Canadians introduced me to the Browning High Power M-35. I could not get back to the states fast enough to buy one for myself.

Those people knew how to shoot, and they did it at minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

It was so damned cold the snot froze on your nose, but those Canadians could care less. After we got to the club house, they drank beer and whiskey until early morning.

    God Bless Canada!

    Be well.

Got to take a Brit to the range once. After we were done, the guy had the biggest grin I've ever seen.

I taught a Venezuelan woman how to shoot a Glock.

She had to close a cigar store at 9:00 P.M.

She had a Glock 22 for protection, but didn't have the faintest clue how to shoot it.

I taught her enough to protect herself.

Plus, she was a decent shot once she practiced a bit.

    She was very grateful.

I'm from Tierra del Fuego and I've never shot a gun before. I was born into a poor llama shepherd family at the end of the road, close to the active volcano. We had to work hard every day to keep the lava flow out of the llama corral. Please take me shooting.
