Yeah and that's POST WAR. LOL I don't mind negotiating. But outright lowballing because you think the other party is stupid gets me going. I know what the going rate is. I'm offering the going rate. If you want to haggle a bit I can deal with that.
Nice thats good to know. The rifle itself has sentimental value so I wont be getting rid of it probably ever. It also is dead on at 200 yards. I want to hunt something with it
Good thing we sat down before clicking it.Link doesn't work.
I'm still skeeved that I sold an SKS for 200 that I bought for 100 and I can't even find the guy to buy it back at current going rate. That was in something like 2011. And I know that's going to be a lot more, just because I want that specific rifle. That dude is lying through his teeth about gun show prices
People have a hard time getting over the fact that mosins have increased in price. That said the mosin is worth only what someone is willing to pay. I think it will take you a little while longer to sell it at $600 but that isnt a bad price
Maybe it's just me,but I can't force myself to buy an old war relic.
Maybe it's just me,but I can't force myself to buy an old war relic. Just never cared for them. I did buy two SKS's years ago from a guy that needed some money,I paid $150 for both. Then sold them during the Clinton years for $300 ea. I never shot them.

Well, Russian/Chinese stuff is garbage, after all, you don't want to give your army of cannon fodder illiterate farmers a nice, expensive rifle when 2/3rds will get killed immediately by the enemy, and the 1/3 that retreats gets killed by the maxim gun you brought along...

I guess Simo Haya just was lucky. A good rifleman can be deadly with just about anything.
It's also been used in more wars than any other firearm.
I like the way you think.Maybe it's just me,but I can't force myself to buy an old war relic. Just never cared for them. I did buy two SKS's years ago from a guy that needed some money,I paid $150 for both. Then sold them during the Clinton years for $300 ea. I never shot them.
Shit in one hand wish in another.........and some folks still expect to find a Winchester or Marlin 30-30 for $100.00 - $125.00........
