Just Moved From CA to the Austin Area

I moved from about 45 miles from San Francisco to Pflugerville on Monday. Still getting situated. I actually had my CCW in CA as I lived in a county that issued. Will be getting mine here once everything settles. I have an active account on CalGuns.net and look forward to some freedom for once. Anyways, just wanted to say hi.

Welcome. Just leave the Californiaitis there and and not here, especially if you are in Pflugerville. Pflugerville is in Texas proper and not the Austin Quarantine Zone.

*Bass Hall, Long Center, Zach theater. These are places you should know. Also Trail of Lights, SXSW, ACL. Stay away from Austin when they have the track rallies unless you want to be involved in a riot.

*TexMex is not Mex food.

*ARC and Best of the West have local competitions almost weekly.

*Ranges in driving distance (driving distance to a Texan is a relative thing). Red's (don't like em); Best of the West, Shady Oaks; Eagle Peak. There may be more.

*We have weather here. God made Texas to train the faithful. Tornado warnings, flood warnings, etc are the real deal.
