You wish to beat them senseless after you stab them?

I'm not getting my benchmade dagger dirty. Then I'd have soak it in gas and scrub it. Blow it out and oil it again. I'm way too lazy for all that.

Depends a lot on which turkey they carved, don't it?

Reading the law carefully, the criminal element is in what is being done and where it is being done. A person skinning game or working with a machete would have no problem as long as he/she was not carrying it on their person.

As passed and signed into law, a juvenile's proper use of a long blade is not legislated-but his carrying while committing a crime, possession while committing a crime, or carrying on or about his person are addressed.

Wonder if this Weiland knife of mine would be legal to carry?

Definition of "knuckles" from PC 46.01:

"(8) "Knuckles" means any instrument that consists of finger rings or guards made of a hard substance and that is designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of inflicting serious bodily injury or death by striking a person with a fist enclosed in the knuckles."

Maybe next session!!! That is one beautiful knife, and well-thought-out design.
